We’re seeking a Manager, Detailing (Events) who thrives at the intersection of creativity, precision, and leadership—someone ready to shape the way our ideas become reality. As Manager, Detailing (Events), you will lead our talented team of CAD Detailers and collaborate across Fulfillment, Project Management, Sales, and Design teams worldwide. You’ll ensure every creative concept is transformed into accurate, production-ready CAD and CAM files, delivered efficiently and consistently across all Impact XM Fulfillment Centers. This is more than a managerial role—you’ll mentor, innovate, problem-solve, and help set the standard for detailing excellence across a global operation.

Requirements

  • Trade School or Associate’s Degree in a related field required
  • 3–5+ years in CAD/CAM detailing, project management, or related technical roles
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD and CAD/CAM software
  • Strong collaboration across global teams
  • Problem-solving and creative thinking for innovative design challenges

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology preferred
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • Leadership, coaching, and team development

Responsibilities

  • Manage, mentor, and empower a team of Global CAD Detailers.
  • Drive efficiency, creativity, and accountability across the department.
  • Celebrate team successes and provide constructive guidance to improve performance.
  • Partner with Sales, Project Management, 3D Designers, CNC Operators, and Shop Managers to turn creative concepts into detailed production-ready drawings.
  • Participate in weekly Fulfillment meetings and Project Launch sessions to align on scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Act as the go-to resource for resolving drawing and specification questions.
  • Develop and implement standard policies and procedures to enhance detailing processes.
  • Align software, materials, components, and fabrication techniques across all Fulfillment Centers.
  • Lead self-directed research and provide inventive solutions to complex design challenges.
  • Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and staffing to meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency of CAD/CAM files for CNC production.
  • Review departmental financials and contribute to strategic planning.
