Overview Manager, PV Systems Design Engineering The Manager of PV Systems Design Engineering is responsible for the direct supervision and managerial and personal development of Designer and Drafter Supervisors in addition to overall oversight of the Design Center office and its connection to the rest of Sunrun. The Design Engineering Manager will be responsible for delegating, developing and standardizing the policies, procedures and documentation for the Design Center team. The Manager, Design Center will work hand in hand with other members of the Engineering Leadership Team and Operations Management to ensure consistent, quality and on time performance of the Design Center to its customers. The Design Engineering Manager will oversee 3rd party subcontracted design related services including but not limited to: Professional Engineering (Structural and Electrical); and drafting and design services. On a daily basis, the Manager, Design Center will be responsible for working with a variety of internal customers including Regional Engineering staff and management, commercial drafting staff, Human Resources, IT, etc. This position requires an ability to think critically, comfort with collaborating with unique individuals, and a passion for delivering high quality results.
