About The Position

This role supports the deployment, operation, and evolution of an enterprise-wide platform for managing Distributed Energy Resources (DERs), enabling integration and real-time coordination across bulk generation, transmission, and distribution levels to meet modern grid demands. Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining structured processes for platform management-spanning product lifecycle oversight, defect resolution, release scheduling, and change control. The position ensures seamless system interoperability by analyzing infrastructure dependencies and collaborating with IT, cybersecurity, and risk management teams. It also manages software version upgrades and security patching to safeguard performance, reliability, and compliance. The role requires advanced analysis of emerging technologies such as microgrids, virtual power plants (VPPs), and network applications to support integration of DERs into the distribution system. It involves cross-functional collaboration to develop financial business cases for capital expenditures and operational costs, design new load flexibility programs, and scale grid control architectures. This position plays a strategic role in shaping regulatory filings such as the Grid Transformation Plan and supporting legislative initiatives.
