Within a business model that sells cosmetics through B2B and E-commerce channels, the Demand Planning function is responsible for developing accurate and actionable demand plans tailored to each channel's distinct characteristics, translating business strategies into detailed, SKU-level sales forecasts. This role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to align business plans, sales expectations, and market insights with demand forecasts. Given the fast-paced nature of the cosmetics industry and the critical importance of shelf-life management, this position places a powerful focus on inventory optimization, specifically preventing overstock situations that exceed market demand and minimizing inefficient inventory holding costs. The ideal candidate is a proactive and commercially minded planner who actively communicates with cross-functional stakeholders, embraces new ideas and approaches, and takes initiative to build and improve planning processes in a highly volatile B2B/E-com market environment. This role plays a key part in translating company sales estimates, business plans, and product movement plans into actionable SKU-level Demand Plans to maintain optimal inventory levels, prevent overstock, support supply planning, and drive revenue achievement.
