About The Position

Segra is searching for a qualified and experienced Manager, Data Provisioning to join us in a full-time capacity in one of our Segra offices. The work arrangement for this role is a hybrid position, requiring a minimum of three (3) days in one of our Segra offices, with flexibility to work remotely two (2) days each week. The position is a 2nd shift role, requiring availability Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM - 9:00 PM EST.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; or an equivalent combination of professional level related Engineering/Technical experience required.
A minimum of 8 years of leadership experience and previous Service Delivery experience and proven experience leading and mentoring a technical team.
Knowledge of management principles and practices; personnel supervision and development
Telephony technologies
Knowledge of IP networking, routers, switches and other associated peripheral equipment for customer networks
Knowledge of Ethernet services defined by the Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) such as ELINE/ELAN.
Knowledge of optical transport technologies DWDM/OTN, and SONET/TDM.
Proficiency using Microsoft Applications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strategic skills in Vendor Management , process Documentation, and rapid incident resolution.

Responsibilities

Proactive performance Optimization, troubleshooting and coordinating complex network changes to ensure maximum uptime for customers.
Technical Expert of Customer edge network equipment along with Provider Edge networks .
Ability to make fast, sound decisions under pressure to minimize downtime, such as troubleshooting spanning-tree loops or VLAN misconfigurations.
