About The Position

This position is responsible for leading the digital and analytics strategy for the Purchasing and Supply Chain Center, driving transformation and AI adoption to improve decision-making, digital maturity, and operational efficiency. The Digital Strategy & Analytics Leader defines and governs the Center’s end-to-end data strategy, establishes data ownership and governance frameworks across business areas, and drives analytics-enabled operational efficiency. The role leads digital change management to embed a data culture, delivers operational analytics projects that generate measurable business impact, and partners across Units, Divisions, and Departments to align data initiatives with enterprise objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Define R&R and staffing requirements for unit, staff to budget. Set clear priorities and provide direction to associates. Align workforces and capabilities with current and future business needs. Assess and balance team workload. Distinguish performance and evaluate associate development. Ensure the right people are in the right roles based on (team requests., associate competencies) and developing talent through mentoring, performance feedback, and development training.
  • Ensure that associates feel seen, heard, and valued as a key contributor to Honda’s success .
  • Drives a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to eliminate waste and enhance efficiency.
  • Define and own the Center and BU data and analytics strategy, including vision, roadmaps, execution plans, and alignment with enterprise and company-wide data objectives.
  • Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging advanced analytics, automation, and AI/ML use cases to deliver measurable business value across PSCC.
  • Identify and prioritize high-impact data and analytics opportunities aligned to PSCC business goals.
  • Align with enterprise IT, data platforms, and other Centers on data architecture, tools, and execution approach.
  • Develop Center long term digital transformation vision and strategy based on company top-down targets, including how change is adopted into the business
  • Lead Unit roadmap development and confirm linkage with vision.
  • Assess and advance the digital and AI maturity of PSCC business areas, establishing modern data platforms, tools, and best practices in partnership with IT.
  • Manage achievement of KPI & Business Plan targets and initiatives. Analyze results and lead team in countermeasure development for Unit improvement.
  • Build a network of productive relationships across Honda to achieve Unit plans and targets. Apply key customer (upstream, downstream, and end-user) viewpoint in all Unit activities. Develop and execute strong internal and external organization relationships.
  • Stay at the forefront of emerging data, AI, and analytics technologies to drive innovation across PSCC.
  • Deliver operational analytics projects that address current and future challenges across PSCC, from scoping through implementation and sustainment.
