Our Cyber Security department needs this sort of leader. A manager for the team who can provide the technical and procedural foundation for securing Franciscan Alliance’s products, systems and information. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree IT-related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, MIS, Information Security) - Required
  • 7 years Information Security work experience - Required
  • 10+ years In lieu of Bachelors Degree, Information security work experience - Required
  • 3 years Supervising or leading a cyber security or technology team - Required
  • Certified IS Security Professional (CISSP) - International Information System Security Certification Consortium CISM, CISA, SANS GIAC or other industry-recognized certification obtained within 180 days of hire - Required

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree IT-related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, MIS, Information Security) - Preferred
  • 7 years Healthcare industry, audit experience - Preferred

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Director to align the information security department’s roadmap with Franciscan’s business needs.
  • Define the annual and multi-year department roadmap.
  • Define departmental requirements and recommendations for acquiring new security tools.
  • Manage internal and external staff responsible for security engineering.
  • Consult on technology and application security solutions.
  • Coordinate with other department leaders on the design and implementation of security controls.
  • Review and ensures teams meet SLAs.
  • Regularly work with business leaders and departments to integrate security controls into operational workflow.
  • Assist in technical audits, investigations and potential security breaches.
  • Evaluate/certify technical adherence of system to established security standards.
