About The Position

Boyd Gaming Corporation is a successful gaming and casino entertainment company in the United States. This role involves managing custodial services, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and operational efficiency within the company's properties. The Manager Custodial Services will oversee a team, manage departmental operations, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Three (3) years of experience in housekeeping management.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Other physical requirements include but are not limited to bending, reaching, kneeling, squatting, climbing, pushing, and pulling.
• Must be able to operate and demonstrate the proper use of all equipment.
• Must have general computer skills.
• Must have strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.

Nice To Haves

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Executive Housekeeper Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle personnel-related matters including interviewing, hiring, training, coaching, evaluating, counseling, and discharging staff.
• Establish department guidelines, rules, regulations, and training programs.
• Coordinate scheduling and assign employees in alignment with business needs.
• Handle customer complaints and concerns.
• Prepare and distribute assignments.
• Inspect and approve cleaning of all assigned areas; review status of assignments and follow-up as needed.
• Check all cleaning aids and equipment to ensure they are in proper working order and comply with safety standards.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
