About The Position

The Manager - Count Room is responsible for overseeing the efficient and timely collection and counting of slot bill validators (BVs) and table games drop. This role involves coordinating with various departments, ensuring the count room and its equipment are well-maintained, and managing the count room team. The position requires strong mathematical and communication skills, attention to detail, and adherence to all regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Must have basic mathematical skills, with the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to deal with people in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the collection of slot bill validators (BVs) and the count of table games drop and BV drop is scheduled and performed in an efficient and timely manner.
• Coordinates with departments (cage, security, surveillance, accounting, slots) to ensure that communication and service levels are maintained at a high level.
• Transfers Table games and slot drop funds to the cage in an efficient and timely manner.
• Ensure that soft count area and equipment is maintained in a neat, organized, serviceable and professional manner.
• Performs routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Hires, trains, develops, coaches and supervises the count room team members.
• Displays courteous and professional image to associated departments and guests.
• Ensure full compliance with all MGC regulations.
