Role Overview: Lead SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance for the Health Services segment. Partner with internal audit teams, business leaders, and external auditors to strengthen financial controls, manage risk, and improve SOX processes and tools.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of accounting or auditing experience
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple SOX projects from planning to completion
  • Review process documentation and define project scope
  • Create project plans, assign work, and manage timelines
  • Identify resource needs and coordinate with leadership
  • Track budgets, risks, and project progress
  • Support team training and present updates to stakeholders
  • Lead annual SOX planning (risk assessment, scoping, materiality)
  • Evaluate key controls and define testing approaches
  • Oversee audit fieldwork and review deliverables
  • Identify control issues and partner on remediation solutions
  • Monitor changes in the business and recommend control improvements
  • Track testing progress and report status to leadership
  • Communicate risks, controls, and results clearly to teams and partners
  • Complete required reporting and support department initiatives
  • Promote a culture of integrity, inclusion, and collaboration
  • Contribute to a positive and effective team environment
