About The Position
Raytheon’s Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) Business Unit is hiring a Manager, Contracts for its Precision Fires and Maneuver, DeepStrike/DeepFires™ portfolio. This position offers the unique opportunity to be a key participant in the execution of strategic programs within the LADS business unit, providing leadership, management, and administration of a broad portfolio of contracts. Requirements
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years’ experience
- Experience with one or more of the following: Finance, Supply Chain, Subcontracts, Procurement, Acquisitions, Contracts, and/or Global Trade
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities
- Construct, submit and negotiate pricing proposals
- Provide support to senior management regarding contractual and business issues
- Ensure that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies
- Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and possible mitigation of contractual/program risks
- Examine and understand cost structure estimates of labor, material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Conduct proposal reviews and coordination supporting on-time proposal submittals
- Negotiate contracts
- Review estimate at completion (EAC)
- Support program management and execution reviews
- Provide general contract administration support
- Provide guidance to senior management regarding contractual and business issues
- Ensure that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies
- Advise management of contractual rights and obligations and possible mitigation of contractual/program risks
- Professional representation of Raytheon on contractual transactions working closely with leaders at all levels and direct customer interaction to develop business relationships
- Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, partner with Programs and cross functional team members to develop creative solutions and resolve contractual matters
- Effectively communicate with internal and external customers to establish mutually beneficial relationships and influence business decisions
- Partner with Key Program Functions in the analysis of Requests for Proposal (RFP), development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiation, contractual agreements, contracts implementation, as well as general contract administration
- Conduct timely and effective negotiations and resolution of customer issues to maximize key financial metrics
- Investigate and resolve complex contractual matters by applying astute critical thinking, gathering detailed information, seeking creative contracting techniques, and proactively collaborating with relevant stakeholders
- Provide strategic advice and guidance on numerous contractual rights/ obligations, regulations, and policy/procedure to mitigate risks and unauthorized changes
- Multi-task routine and complex contract and proposal activities while responding to unplanned quick response requirements as they emerge
