The Manager, Contract Management, US Orthopedics role resides in the Offer Development Organization and is responsible for being the primary point of contact with Account Management or Field Sales on all aspects relating to contract development, negotiations, amendments, and issue resolution. This role supports customers consisting of IDNs, group purchasing organizations, collaboratives, government entities, ASCs, and stand-alone hospitals. The manager will manage all contract requests within an assigned geography, draft, review and negotiate terms and conditions in commercial contract documents, and triage requests to prioritize workload. They will serve as a strategic partner to account management and field sales, resolving complex issues through customer and internal stakeholder negotiation, including unique contract language requests, obtaining internal approvals, and assisting in dispute resolution. The role also involves ensuring appropriate work assignment and workload balance across contract management analysts, maintaining attention to detail while identifying emerging patterns and trends, and facilitating effective communication with internal partners. Additionally, the manager will provide mentorship and training to business partners, support projects to create and update contract templates and related tools, and partner with contract strategy to execute new contract offerings and drive process efficiencies. A strong understanding of DePuy Synthes products, offerings, strategies, and business objectives is essential.
