Now Hiring: Compounder Manager (Overseeing a Mixing & Batching Team) Location: kdc/one Groveport | Full-Time At kdc/one, we don’t just make products we produce top beauty and personal care brands. As a Compounding Manager, you will be responsible for leading the Compounding department in the performance of daily operations, achieving business results and strategic planning of the department’s goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry or related technical field is required. In lieu of degree a minimum of 10 years previous experience in a Compounding role is required.
  • Three to five years progressive experience in a chemical compounding environment, preferably in cosmetics or pharmaceutical.
  • Minimum of five years previous supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily compounding operations to meet safety, quality, productivity, and cost goals.
  • Work with Production and project teams to ensure batches, trials, and schedules are completed on time.
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop employees while promoting engagement and retention.
  • Monitor performance and take action to improve results.
  • Drive continuous improvement in processes, equipment, efficiency, and quality.
  • Manage department budgets and control labor, inventory, scrap, and downtime costs.
  • Track and improve key metrics such as safety, quality, productivity, morale, and cost.
  • Lead investigations of safety, quality, and operational issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with Quality, Engineering, HR, and Operations teams to support business goals.
  • Complete performance reviews, SOPs, budgets, and other required documentation.
