About The Position

This is a full-time, founding role reporting to the General Manager of WeRoad US. The Community Manager will be responsible for building and scaling WeRoad's community-led growth initiatives in North America. This includes developing a brand ambassador program, establishing in-person and online partnerships, defining an online community strategy, and implementing a system for measuring community impact on lead generation and bookings. The role requires a proactive and entrepreneurial individual who can build programs from the ground up and manage long-term growth cycles. Success in the first year includes establishing a national ambassador program, creating a documented playbook, integrating community-sourced leads into the attribution model, and setting growth targets for online communities.

Requirements

  • Experience building an ambassador or community program from zero and scaling it across multiple cities.
  • Proven ability to source and close brand partnerships.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work in an undefined role.
  • Patience and ability to track pipeline and attribution for long-term growth.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • WeRoad does not sponsor employment visas for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Own community-led growth end to end, including ambassadors, partnerships, and online community, from strategy through execution.
  • Build the brand ambassador program: recruit, train, and manage a national network to represent WeRoad at events.
  • Source and close co-branded events with brands that reach WeRoad's target travelers.
  • Run online partnerships such as giveaways and co-marketing programs.
  • Set the online community strategy for platforms like Reddit, Facebook, and Telegram, and manage online communities of fans.
  • Define how community activity is captured as leads and credited in the attribution model.
  • Develop a repeatable process (playbook) for successful community initiatives.
