About The Position

The Manager, Communications & Engagement is part of the Customer Engagement Services (CES) Communications & Engagement Team. This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated communication and engagement plans that connect CES priorities to Walmart’s broader business strategy and drive measurable impact across internal and external audiences. Reporting to the Director, Communications & Engagement, this role works across CES and enterprise teams to plan and deliver communications that keep people informed, drive engagement and support the business — while maintaining clear, consistent messaging across channels. The CES Communications & Engagement Team keeps more than 3,000 CES associates across the U.S. and India informed, engaged and inspired. Our team builds and maintains communication channels, manages the CES editorial calendar, and defines our internal audiences to ensure messaging is relevant. We also lead key engagement moments like all-hands meetings, recognition programs, the CES Pulse survey and events such as Customer Service Appreciation Week and Associate Week – CES. This role connects CES priorities to the broader Walmart narrative by developing and executing communication and engagement plans that drive awareness, alignment, and engagement. You’ll partner with leaders to shape messaging, manage communication cadence, and ensure consistent delivery across channels. This is a hands-on role for someone grounded in internal communications, with the ability to turn business priorities into clear, compelling messaging for associates, leaders, and industry audiences — balancing strong editorial judgment with business fluency. It’s a role built for someone who enjoys variety; one day you may be developing SharePoint content, the next organizing an event that brings the entire CES organization together. We also embrace the use of AI as a tool to move faster, think differently, and elevate the quality and impact of our work. You’ll also work closely with CES leaders and Corporate Communications & Events to share and amplify CES priorities across audiences — from frontline associates to senior leadership and external partners.
