The team plays a pivotal role in aligning Amplifi’sofferings with client objectives, integrating the right partnerships and solutions to drive measurable impact. Commercial leads Amplifi’s overarching commercial strategy—identifying, negotiating, and activating premier partnerships that power our best-in-class solutions and deliver diverse revenue growth Solutions leads the sourcing, development, and commercialization of innovative new products and services to solve client challenges and deliver measurable value for both clients and dentsu. Activation implements Amplifi solutions with a performance-first mindset—executing, optimizing, and reporting on campaigns across platform and direct channels to deliver the best outcomes for all (sanpo yoshi). Data, Technology & Analytics drives Amplifi’s product, data, and analytics initiatives to ensure the effective implementation of our solutions and data driven tools Revenue Operations designs and implements the infrastructure that protects and grows Amplifi’s revenue—ensuring accurate revenue recognition and compliant processes across all partnerships and programs. Business Strategy shapes & drives the strategic direction of the Amplifi organization, connecting the dots between our big picture goals and the day-to-day work across all teams. Role Summary: The Manager is a base-level management position that is accountable for overseeing all aspects of Amplifi's activation process from submission to reconciliation. The Manager partners with the Associate Director and Director setting the strategic tone for the assigned accounts. The Manager is expected to have a strong working knowledge of the media space and utilizes available media tools. The Manager is responsible for managing their team – developing their skills, evaluating their performance and managing their growth. In addition to their core account assignments, the Manager is expected to take part in larger areas of agency development – aiding new business, and participating in dentsu learnings. This role is a step toward greater leadership within the network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years media activation experience
  • Knowledge of trends and innovations in traditional and digital media (prisma)
  • Strong negotiator and advanced numeracy skills
  • Ability to articulate strategic foundation for their development
  • Balanced ability to perform analytically and creatively
  • Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Proven leadership skills and management experience
  • Regarded internally as a “go to person”
  • Displays sound business judgment internally
  • Strong ability to delegate tasks to staff to ensure appropriate utilization
  • Strong ability to manage crisis or red-flag situations
  • Understanding of the financials of client/agency relationships
  • Motivation to participate in agency development and new business
  • Develop media presentation materials that are clear, compelling and persuasive
  • Adapt communication style to relevant audience
  • Establish and maintain communications process with Media group and account team
  • Constructively edit and review the writing of media documents
  • Maintain frequent/as needed communication with the client and disseminate pertinent client information to the media team
  • Move audience to desired action through clear and persuasive delivery of information

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate commercial support between our solutions and Commercial Finance
  • Working with the Director and Trading Officer, support maintenance of Alternative Income Product slate
  • Identify opportunities for the cross-sell and combination of our solutions
  • Oversee day-to-day responsibilities and training of Associates and Senior Associates
  • Maintain marketplace expertise across all television mediums
  • Be knowledgeable of clients’ business model and goals to best ensure their media is working towards growth
  • Continue to develop relationships with key media vendors
  • Work with Associate Director and Director to set team expectations and pacing strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior management to familiarize our savings program to new clients for successful on-board
  • Assist team to develop buy analysis and oversee plan negotiations
  • Act as a team resource for all inventory, billing and invoice discrepancies
  • Act as the internal point person for client, vendor and finance teams for plan activation, stewardship, and final reporting
  • Develop and maintain timelines for all projects
  • Maintain client team and vendor relationships at appropriate levels
  • Understand the various client needs
  • Manage expectations for deliverables
  • Where appropriate, grows business opportunities within current clients
  • Thoroughly understanding of all elements of investment and trade agreements
  • Looks to identify savings opportunities to offer to existing or potential clients
  • Serve as a resource for Associates and Assistants for advice, counsel and mentorship
  • Lead face to face client and vendor meetings
  • Participate and present in New Business efforts and presentations, where appropriate
  • Establishes strong internal relationships with other service line personnel
  • Balance, prioritize and properly assign work associated with multiple, concurrent projects
  • Provide guidance to team members and nurture/promote team environment
  • Assists in the training of new or junior team members
  • Ensure key information is being provided to the team regarding client issues, internal agency issues, changes in account status, etc.
  • Is approachable and solution-oriented when presented with problems/issues by staff and team
  • Responsible for constructing and delivering accurate, honest and timely performance management documents
  • Is mindful of the client’s point of view when reviewing work, leverage this perspective when providing feedback to team
