About The Position

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for a Manager, Commercial AI & Advanced Analytics to support the commercial organization's Customer AI Product Strategy (CAPS) group. This position is based in Horsham, PA. Purpose: The Manager, Commercial AI & Advanced Analytics is responsible for driving commercial AI capabilities for our Immunology commercial franchise, with a focus on modernizing how we engage customers through AI-powered analytics & insights, generative AI, intelligent agents, and connected omnichannel execution. This leader will create scalable, governed AI solutions that solve complex unmet needs for customers, improve field and marketing effectiveness, influence senior-level decision-making, uncover revenue and share growth opportunities, and advance our commercial model. The ideal candidate can translate business needs into practical AI-enabled capabilities and has experience working across commercial, technology, data science, digital, compliance, and vendor teams to move ideas from concept to measurable business impact.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a Bachelor Degree is required; an advanced degree in a field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Operations Research, Econometrics is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience in marketing, finance, analytics, management consulting or related field is required
  • Ability to translate business questions into AI-enabled solutions, including analytics, machine learning, generative AI, and agentic workflows, and interpret outcomes into meaningful business insights and actionable recommendations is required
  • Knowledge of applied AI and analytics concepts, including model evaluation, measurement design, experimentation, optimization, and responsible use of AI in real-world business settings is required
  • Working knowledge of machine learning, generative AI, large language models, agents, and their real-world advantages, limitations, and governance considerations is required
  • Working knowledge of pharma and specialty pharmacy data sources (to include IQVIA, Symphony Health, Truven/Optum) is required
  • Excellent communication skills (written and presentation)
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to organize, integrate, and analyze large data sources and draw cohesive conclusions
  • Ability to influence all levels of the organization and to engage across a broad range of business partners and functions

Nice To Haves

  • Experience building or enabling customer engagement capabilities such as next best action, AI-assisted field planning, trigger-based recommendations, omnichannel orchestration, or digital engagement optimization is preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years of Pharmaceutical experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop, influence, and scale commercial AI capabilities that improve customer engagement, field effectiveness, and omnichannel execution across the franchise
  • Lead day-to-day partnerships with sales leadership, brand teams, digital, customer engagement, technology, data science, and other commercial stakeholders to identify high-value AI use cases and drive adoption
  • Act as an internal commercial AI consultant, proactively translating business priorities into practical AI, machine learning, generative AI, and agentic solutions
  • Drive the evolution of customer engagement capabilities, including next best actions, trigger-based engagement, field-facing AI assistants, generative AI workflows, and agent-enabled orchestration across channels
  • Partner with internal and external teams to ensure AI solutions are grounded in trusted data, approved content, appropriate governance, privacy, compliance, and measurable business outcomes
  • Manage prioritization, roadmap planning, budget inputs, and delivery execution for commercial AI initiatives, balancing speed, value, risk, and scalability
  • Develop clear stories, business cases, and performance readouts that help stakeholders understand how AI capabilities improve customer experience, field execution, and commercial performance
