The Manager, Collections Technology Projects is responsible for working with key technology and business partners to manage and deliver on small to medium size technology-related projects hands on, from conception and funding to delivering and monitoring. In this role, the individual will contribute to the development of short-term and longer-term business plans for Canada Collections by executing collection system changes aligned with the technology roadmap. They will ensure the delivery of best-in-class customer service, fostering an environment that promotes agile, flexible, and timely operational efficiencies, while mitigating the bank’s risk by identifying and assessing opportunities to streamline or improve procedures and replace them with more efficient, customer-centric processes and procedures that will enhance customer experience. Additionally, the role contributes to the effective functioning of the team by actively participating in consultations with partners and taking initiative in identifying process enhancements that drive increased efficiencies within the unit as a subject matter expert for the collection system. The role also involves building relationships with internal and external partners by collaborating on project deliverables and working with a diverse working group, with varying expertise and job levels, and building good working relations with vendors and technology partners, as applicable.
