About The Position

The Manager, Closely Held Assets supports the management and oversight of closely held and other nonmarketable assets held within fiduciary structures, including trusts, estates, and foundations. The role executes day-to-day portfolio management activities while ensuring adherence to fiduciary, regulatory, and risk standards.

The Manager evaluates, monitors, and administers a portfolio of low- to moderate-complexity closely held assets, including minority interests in limited partnerships, limited liability companies, and privately held corporations. The role partners with senior team members and internal stakeholders to support asset management decisions, valuations, and transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in commercial credit, business analysis, trust administration, or a similar field.
• Ability to interpret financial statements and assist in determining the value of privately held business interests.
• Experience supporting management of investment portfolios or financial assets.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal partners and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to assess moderately complex financial and operational data.
• Ability to identify and escalate issues with sound judgment.
• Ability to work effectively across teams and functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality service and maintaining strong relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of closely held business interests, supporting investment reviews, valuations, and ongoing monitoring activities.
• Analyze financial statements, company performance, and industry trends to assist in assessing risk and determining asset value.
• Support the evaluation and execution of corporate actions, including proxy votes, reorganizations, and asset sale transactions.
• Communicate with clients, trust officers, and professional advisors regarding asset performance and administrative updates.
• Ensure adherence to governing documents, fiduciary standards, and regulatory requirements; escalate risks or issues as appropriate.
• Coordinate documentation, tracking, and reporting related to asset activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Partner with internal teams, including risk, legal, tax, and operations, to support asset management and issue resolution.
• Perform other duties as assigned, adapting to evolving business needs and priorities.
