The Manager Clinical Operations for CVTU/CSDU at Advocate Christ Medical Center is a full-time, benefits-eligible position responsible for the planning, management, implementation, and evaluation of operations and services to ensure quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. This role involves establishing staffing requirements, monitoring patient care quality and satisfaction, developing and implementing policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting patient safety. The manager is also tasked with the selection, development, motivation, and evaluation of staff, including recruitment, retention strategies, and educational opportunities. Budget administration, including planning, monitoring expenditures, and developing program proposals, is a key responsibility. Additionally, the role requires maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external contacts, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and actively participating in hospital committees and projects. The manager is expected to engage in continuous personal and professional growth and development by staying abreast of current standards of care and participating in professional organizations and continuing education.
