About The Position

Responsible for the day-to-day management of site or department based clinic operations and providing team leadership to the clinic staff. Monitors patient and clinic workflow to ensure efficient patient care and cost effective operation of the clinic. Other duties as assigned. The Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin regional health network is a partnership between Froedtert Health and the Medical College of Wisconsin supporting a shared mission of patient care, innovation, medical research and education. Our health network operates eastern Wisconsin's only academic medical center and adult Level I Trauma center engaged in thousands of clinical trials and studies. The Froedtert & MCW health network, which includes ten hospitals, nearly 2,000 physicians and more than 45 health centers and clinics draw patients from throughout the Midwest and the nation.

Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of recent experience in a clinical setting where leadership, competence and expertise in ambulatory care has been demonstrated, OR 2-3 years of demonstrated leadership experience in a healthcare setting is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Business, or related field is required; in lieu of a Bachelor's Degree a minimum of 7 years of Healthcare Administration experience is required.
• Proven management skills are essential.

• Has the temperament for dealing with people who are ill and need help.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, team building and decision making capabilities to ensure effective and efficient operation of the clinic.
• Works effectively with leadership, physicians and staff within a complex medical center.

• Has the ability to set priorities, identify and resolve problems effectively and efficiently.
