About The Position

This role is responsible for managing a team of client representatives, ensuring excellent client service, and contributing to the department's business planning and operational enhancements. The Manager will develop and maintain expert knowledge of Vanguard's offerings and the financial services industry to guide clients and their teams effectively. Requirements

Minimum of five years related work experience in the Financial Services industry.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
This job requires a regulatory license and/or registration (Series 7, 24 and 63). These will be determined by Compliance based on role-specific duties.

Nice To Haves

Three years experience in client services preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.
Graduate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Hires, evaluates, and supervises crew, providing guidance and training.
Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes compensation decisions.
Participates in business planning for the department, analyzes statistics, and prepares reports.
Uses data to monitor issues, measure success, and make recommendations for service model enhancements.
Develops and recommends changes to departmental policies and procedures, and leads workflow changes.
Collaborates with internal partners to influence and recommend improvements to the client service model.
Reviews client feedback and provides guidance on resolutions to strengthen client relationships.
Develops and maintains expert knowledge of Vanguard funds, products, and services.
Understands the financial services industry, including legal, tax, and regulatory issues, to guide clients.
Analyzes department and industry changes and their impact on client service operations.
Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
