Requirements

  • at least 5 years’ experience in full cycle bookkeeping procedures
  • at least 5 years’ experience in QuickBooks Online is required.
  • advanced knowledge of financial reporting, tax and strategic planning
  • excellent computer skills and willingness to upgrade such skills, as required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the review of client financial files to ensure accuracy, regulatory compliance, and adherence to internal standards.
  • Mentor Accounting and Data Advisors through structured feedback and coaching; champion professional growth and succession planning.
  • Act as the primary liaison for clients on financial reporting and advisory matters, delivering strategic insights and exceptional service.
  • Oversee reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statement preparation; ensure integrity and timeliness of month-end and year-end close processes.
  • Drive operational improvements and participate in high-level initiatives, including process optimization and organizational development.
  • Ensure accurate preparation and submission of GST and other compliance filings; proactively manage financial risk.
  • Collaborate with peers and senior leadership to plan, prioritize, and execute file completion strategies efficiently.
  • Foster strong client relationships through personalized, attentive service and proactive problem-solving.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and continuous training to build a high-performing team aligned with organizational goals.
