About The Position

The American Nurses Enterprise (ANE) is seeking a strategic and results-driven Manager, Certification Analysts to lead the daily operations and performance of the Certification Analyst team, including part-time pool employees, within the Certification work unit. This leader will leverage performance metrics and workflow data to optimize staffing, strengthen operational efficiency, and ensure coverage aligns with evolving business demands. The role will also direct onboarding, training, and ongoing development for new and existing team members; champion continuous improvement; and secure the resources needed to achieve departmental and organizational priorities. The Manager, Certification Analysts reports to the Senior Manager, Certification. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate work experience
  • A minimum of five (5) years of related experience
  • at least three (3) years of supervisory experience, preferred.
  • Exceptional communication skills including written and verbal communication.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem solving and computer skills.
  • Advanced group facilitation and public speaking.
  • Ability to critically think and collaboratively build solutions in a politically sensitive, high visibility work environment.
  • Ability to recognize and address business opportunities and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Interpersonal skills and political sensitivity with ability to interact with and influence executive level individuals, consultants, vendors, volunteers and customers to recognize and address sensitivities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Flexibility in dealing with changing priorities and demanding workload.
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize and appreciate cultural differences and meet the needs of individuals and organizations from different cultures.
  • Healthcare background and familiarity with provider issues.
  • Knowledge in coalition building process and the ability to negotiate.
  • Expert meeting facilitation skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • three (3) years of supervisory experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages day-to-day operations of the Certification Analysts and makes staffing and work assignment decisions based on available metrics.
  • Ensures efficiency and accuracy of processes through audit of staff work and customers, and makes informed decisions on changes for improvement.
  • Designs and delivers training material for the onboarding process of new employees and continued learning for current employees.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all direct reports meet performance expectations and provides coaching and retraining as needed to ensure that organizational goals and objectives are met.
  • Collaborates with Manager, Certification Associates and Senior Manager of Certification to ensure adequate support is provided for the application review processes.
