About The Position

We are recruiting a Category Manager to join our Category Management & Insights team. In this role, you will identify, articulate, and drive key category growth opportunities to maximize value for our retail partners. In this role, you will support sustainable category growth for Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited and its brand partners by leveraging insights and strategic recommendations. Acting as a subject matter expert in industry, category, and shopper trends, you will help position Coca-Cola as a trusted strategic partner with retailers and influence in-market execution. This role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of data, strategy, and customer engagement—providing exposure to cross-functional teams, visibility with key retail partners, and the ability to directly influence category performance and business outcomes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.
  • Ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data into clear, compelling insights.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple cross-functional workstreams while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and negotiate across teams and with external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver objective, data-driven total store and beverage solutions by providing differentiated, relevant, and actionable insights.
  • Lead fact-based category discussions with account and customer teams to address key business questions and develop strategies that support future category growth.
  • Assess business performance and support joint business planning with key stakeholders.
  • Lead and influence cross-functional teams to develop effective category growth recommendations aligned with customer needs and strategic priorities.
  • Support the development of shopper insights to enhance understanding of consumer behaviour for both Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited and its retail partners.
  • Collaborate with retailers to develop space strategies that drive category growth while aligning with core space principles and channel/brand standards.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retailer merchandising teams and key stakeholders across the organization.
  • Ensure best-in-class, customer-focused thinking is applied to all category strategies and recommendations.
