About The Position

The Business Manager oversees financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic growth for the Cancer Center and Oncology Clinic Business Operations within Mercyhealth. This role ensures high-quality care, compliance with healthcare regulations, and alignment with organizational goals and values.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
3-5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare or clinic management.
Strong financial, analytical, and leadership skills.
Proven ability to improve operational performance and implement strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

Monitor monthly clinic financials, budgets, and FTE allocations to ensure fiscal responsibility.
Develop and implement processes to improve revenue, charge capture, and workflow efficiency.
Partner with leadership to design and execute strategic business plans and new program initiatives.
Lead procurement efforts for capital and minor equipment and resolve related operational issues.
Supervise assigned staff (social work, dietitian, cancer registry, and co-supervision of genetics).
Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and quality assurance programs.
Collaborate with marketing and PR to promote programs and services.
