About The Position

The Montreal office is looking for a Manager to join its Domestic Tax practice. This role involves leading client engagements for a wide variety of clients, including small and medium enterprises, identifying and implementing strategies for business and tax opportunities, and preparing/reviewing tax reorganizations and corporate, trust, and estate tax returns. The Manager will also be responsible for building positive client relationships, effectively communicating with team members, and engaging in staff training and professional development.

Requirements

  • Hold a Master’s or In‑Depth Tax Program
  • 5 years’ experience in public accounting with a specialization in Tax for a minimum of 2 years
  • Extensive understanding of relevant tax legislation, corporate, personal and trust tax planning and compliance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English, as you will interact with clients across Eastern Canada
  • Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
  • Display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Bilingual in English and French is required due to the frequent and complex contact with our English-speaking partners and clients in Quebec and outside of Quebec, and the need to draft documents in English, knowledge of English is essential for this position.
