Position Summary: The Manager, Business Systems is a hands-on leadership role responsible for managing and optimizing Oracle ERP Cloud applications across Record to Report (R2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (O2C), ARCS, RMCS, Billing, and Revenue Management processes. This role combines functional and technical expertise with strong leadership skills to support daily ERP operations, system enhancements, Projects, integrations, and strategic initiatives. The Manager will lead ERP support resources and partner closely with Finance and Operations stakeholders to deliver scalable, reliable, and compliant business solutions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and drive continuous improvement across enterprise systems and business processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience with a concentration in Computer Science, Information Technology, information systems, or a related field (required)
  • Exhibits hands-on functional and technical knowledge with 10+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion and/or Oracle EBS R11/R12 in O2C and P2P track is a must– GL, AR, AP, FA, CM, AGIS, Advance Collections, ARCS, RMCS, Financial Close, Consolidation, Revenue recognition, and Reporting.
  • Must have 8+ years of experience implementing/supporting medium/large-scale Oracle ERP Cloud Financial and procurement modules.
  • 8+ years of experience in coordinating and supporting IT business Processes and providing production support is a must.
  • Proven experience managing ERP support and delivery teams, including offshore resources
  • Strong experience managing production support, escalations, and cross-functional issue resolution
  • Ability to prioritize competing initiatives based on business value and risk
  • Strong partnership with Finance stakeholders, including support for close cycles and financial reporting
  • Experience in defining and managing SLAs and KPIs for ERP support
  • Track record of improving system performance, support metrics, or closing timelines
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow)
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL, OTBI & BI Publisher reports.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of FRS and SmartView is advantageous
  • Designs, implements, and supports complex business processes in an Oracle environment.
  • Experience supporting integrations using MuleSoft or similar middleware platforms preferred.
  • Experience with aspects of the application change management cycle, including requirements gathering, developing test plans, and delivering training.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues in technical and functional roles
  • Regulatory compliance must include SOX & HIPAA, with an understanding of control frameworks such as COBIT
  • Working with outsourced support vendors, including offshore within Asia time zones.
  • Proven ability to create, socialize, and implement plans for project activities such as data migration and UAT.
  • An ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical, and impactful manner.
  • Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment, in a high-pressure on-call environment with changing priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead analysis, design, implementation, and support of the Oracle Fusion Financial Cloud production environment for the Record to Report, Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay track (GL, AR, AP, FA, CM, SLA, PO, OM, Fusion Tax).
  • Define team structure, roles, and responsibilities to ensure effective coverage across ERP functional areas (R2R, P2P, O2C).
  • Manage resource planning, capacity, and workload distribution to meet business priorities and SLAs.
  • Coordinate with end-users and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate performance of the production environment supporting Finance and Operations, and support Month-End, Quarter-end, and Year-end Close.
  • Take ownership of setting up and configuring the Oracle Fusion Cloud application, and participate in testing during system upgrades, Projects, and enhancements.
  • Lead and manage a team of ERP analysts and support resources, including offshore teams, ensuring high-quality delivery and continuous development.
  • Own prioritization and governance of ERP enhancements, balancing business needs, risk, and system performance.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for Finance and Operations leadership for all ERP-related initiatives, escalations, and strategic discussions
  • Work closely with the integration team to design, troubleshoot, and resolve data-related issues in daily operations.
  • Suggest & maintain monitoring reports.
  • Creates, analyzes, and executes complex reports, queries, and data using BI Publisher/OTBI to support the various reporting requirements of Finance and Operations.
  • Manage backlog of user requests, with regular status reporting of prioritization of new items, WIP, and completed items.
  • Stay current with vendor upgrades, new functionality, and feature releases, and assess adoption strategies.
  • Lead organizational change management efforts related to ERP enhancements, including communication, training, and user adoption strategies.
  • Understand Guardant Health’s business models and work closely with end-users to identify, recommend, and implement business process improvements.
  • Perform as a core team member and/or participate in ERP project initiatives.
  • Document systems procedures to facilitate cross-training.
  • Ensure creation, maintenance, and accuracy of all relevant system documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical designs, workflows, and training materials.
