Manager, Business Process & Sales Operations

United Flow Technologies•Irving, TX

About The Position

United Flow Technologies (UFT) is bringing its acquired brands into a single standard operating model, creating a consistent way of working from the first lead through the final invoice. The Manager, Business Process & Sales Operations is responsible for implementing the changes identified through UFT’s lead-to-invoice (L2I) assessment. The role begins by executing a Dallas pilot with a cluster of UFT brands, then turns the lessons learned into a repeatable framework for subsequent pilot clusters. This hands-on, execution-focused position works brand by brand while building an approach that can scale across the platform. Reporting to the VP of Integration & Operational Excellence and working closely with the Director, Business Process & Sales Operation, the manager will be embedded in the Dallas pilot and work on site with brands as needed. After the pilots, the role will implement L2I recommendations across current brands, align newly acquired brands with UFT business processes, and lead continuous process improvement across the business.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of experience in business process improvement, operations, project management, or integration roles.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead process implementation or pilot programs from design through rollout and scale a successful approach to additional groups or business units.
  • Experience documenting and implementing standard operating procedures and training teams on them, including teams that did not create the procedures.
  • Knowledge of sales operations or commercial back-office processes, including quoting, order management, contract administration, invoicing, and synergy tracking.
  • Experience with CRM or ERP platforms such as QuickBase, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Odoo, or equivalent, and ability to work around system limitations without losing process discipline.
  • Proven ability to influence and drive behavior change among people who do not report to you, including brand-level staff accustomed to current ways of working.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple brands and workstreams while tracking individual commitments.
  • Clear communication skills, including translating process standards into practical guidance for brand staff and summarizing progress and results for executive stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel to brand locations, especially during pilot and integration phases.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent practical experience considered.
  • Located in the Dallas metro area or willing to relocate.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a multi-entity or acquired-brand environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end execution of the Dallas pilot, translating L2I assessment recommendations into working processes, trained staff, and measurable outcomes within defined timelines.
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain pilot SOPs, including lead logging, synergy capture, and post-PO order entry, as well as train-the-trainer materials for brand-level adoption.
  • Establish and track the pilot KPI framework, including leading and lagging indicators, and escalate gaps and risks to the VP of Integration.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for brand-level staff, resolving process questions, data issues, and adoption friction.
  • Identify, log, and resolve gaps and bottlenecks surfaced during the pilot, confirming required changes are made before extending the model to the next cluster.
  • Manage and lead third-party consultants through a successful pilot cycle aligned with UFT’s goals and growth approach.
  • Escalate all risks and issues to the VP of Integration & Operational Excellence.
  • Capture the Dallas approach in a repeatable framework, implementation playbook, SOPs, training materials, KPI definitions, timelines, and readiness criteria, and update it with lessons from each pilot cluster.
  • Apply the framework to each new pilot cluster, adapting to brands’ systems and commercial realities while maintaining core standards.
  • Define go/no-go criteria for extending the approach to each new cluster, and report results, lessons learned, and recommended framework changes to senior leadership.
  • Turn L2I assessment recommendations into prioritized implementation plans for current brands, with clear owners, milestones, and success measures.
  • Partner with brand leadership and staff to implement changes without disrupting core commercial activity, tracking progress and reporting status to the VP of Integration and the Business Process Owner & Integration Support.
  • Assess newly acquired brands against the UFT process standard, identify gaps, and develop brand-specific alignment plans with realistic timelines and milestones using the pilot playbook.
  • Deliver SOP training and hands-on support to acquired-brand staff; coordinate with UFT IT and finance on data, system, and accounting needs; and document lessons learned to strengthen the playbook.
  • Identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities across sales and lead management, quoting, order entry, contract administration, invoicing, and back-office support, drawing on input from brand staff, brand leadership, and the Business Process Owner & Integration Support.
  • Analyze current-state processes, identify root causes, and design practical improvements that are tested, documented, and rolled out in a controlled way.
  • Maintain a standard intake and prioritization method for improvement ideas, track initiatives through measured results, and use KPI and adoption data to validate improvements and update SOPs and the framework.
