The Manager, Business Analytics position is a technical, hands-on role. They will optimize the impact of Global Supply Chain programs across stakeholders while using deep analytical insights and machine learning / AI to make data driven decisions and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field with 8 years of previous related experience or equivalent work experience based on Edwards criteria
• Experience in architecting, developing and deploying business intelligence, analytics and reporting solutions to internal and external stakeholders

• Knowledge of database, data warehousing or data sciences
• Extensive understanding of supply chain operations
• Extensive knowledge of own area within the organization while contributing to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards
• Extensive understanding of quantitative methodologies, techniques and tools to develop best in class analytic solutions
• Strong leadership skills and ability to influence change
• Solid knowledge and understanding with BI, reporting, data mining, or multi-data center applications

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders from BUs, functions and regions to understand business challenges, problems and opportunities.
• Design, develop and implement innovative solutions, from idea to incubation to scaling, both technical (e.g., metrics dashboards, meta-data additions to enhance reporting and analytics) and non-technical (e.g., process changes, simplified workflow changes).
• Partner with IT and other software development partners to architect, drive design, implement operational performance improvement for BUs, functions and regions/plants.
• Continually improve user experience for Business Intelligence reports and dashboards.
• Perform complex data analysis and identify opportunities to improve training, processes, systems and product data quality.
• Drive the development and manage the execution of “art of the possible” POC/POV/pilots on a product lines and manufacturing areas to qualify and validate manufacturing processes; analyze results and make recommendations.
• Train, coach and guide lower-level employees on scaling solutions, driving results and change management.
• Lead and establish complex project plans to ensure deliverables are completed to customer’s expectations, using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Project Plan, Risk Analysis, etc.).
• Develop training and documentation materials (e.g., work instructions) for production to enable seamless knowledge transfer of project and manufacturing processes.
• Create processes and procedures (e.g., SOPs, work instructions) for applicable Supply Chain functions.
