To help develop and implement Allied World's Southwest Region Broker Engagement strategic plans across all lines of business in the organization. This role is responsible for all elements of distribution management for all product lines in the Southwest Region. The individual will obtain a broad knowledge and be able to speak authoritatively about all AW NA product lines, including illustrating AW product/Company differentiation, key competitor strengths and weaknesses, current market or industry segment issues, and a comprehensive understanding of AW distribution relationships. This role involves working closely with the Southwest Regional Executive and Broker Engagement Leader to assess regional BE needs, develop specific product line strategies, target specific accounts, prioritize resources, and execute business development plans. The Manager will manage overall broker performance for brokers in assigned geographic territories to achieve stated growth objectives and determine which brokers need specific growth plans. Additionally, the role involves identifying new production and/or product opportunities by conducting in-depth portfolio surveys of existing/potential distribution partners, enhancing AW market share by identifying and qualifying new distributors, and acting as the distribution partner's advocate. The position will expand AW's visibility and brand in the market via participation at strategic conferences, gather competitive intelligence, and assist in developing and managing robust reports that track stated BE metrics.
