About The Position

The Breeder Operations Manager directs and coordinates the Breeder Operations in the assigned area. This role is responsible for ensuring the required quantity and quality of hatch eggs are available for hatcheries, implementing and monitoring pullet and breeder production programs, and directing programs for growing pullets and breeders for all contract growers. The position also involves monitoring the development of contract growers, pullet placements, moves, vaccinations, and sales to ensure proper hatch egg numbers. Performance and cost numbers are reported to accounting and upper management. The role provides oversight and management of the Assistant Breeder Manager and Service Tech team. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent & relevant experience
• 5+ years in poultry or related field
• Previous supervisory experience

Responsibilities

• Directs Breeder Department operations to ensure the required quantity and quality of hatch eggs are available for hatcheries
