About The Position

Working out of the Four Seasons global headquarters in Toronto, the Manager, Brand Content Strategy will be an integral member of the broader Marketing team for one of the world's leading luxury hospitality brands. This role will have specific oversight over ensuring every expression of our brand clearly reflects who we are and reinforces a consistent, elevated, and timeless identity. The Manager, Brand Content Strategy will support the development and evolution of the Content Strategy Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Four Seasons, ensuring all content strategies, across channels, campaigns, guest touchpoints, and Lines of Business, are grounded in the foundational elements of our brand and Brand Storytelling Pillars and contribute to a cohesive Four Seasons brand narrative. Acting as a key conduit between Brand Strategy, Channel Leads, the Digital team, and subject matter experts, this role will help translate storytelling strategy into channel appropriate execution, ensuring consistency across the marketing ecosystem while using content performance insights to continuously refine and strengthen the impact of the Four Seasons story. Operating at the intersection of brand strategy, product positioning, creative thinking, and marketing execution, this role provides the strategic frameworks, clarity, and governance that enable teams to create content confidently, independently, and consistently, without diluting or fragmenting the brand. Success in this role requires equal comfort guiding strategic conversations, connecting stakeholders, and building practical frameworks that help teams translate brand strategy into execution that drive brand and commercial performance. Part strategist, part collaborator, and part builder, this individual will help transform a strong strategic foundation into a connected and enduring brand story.

Requirements

  • College or University degree, preferably in a business or marketing program. MBA an asset.
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in a strategic role in consumer marketing or at an agency. Experience in the luxury industry is an asset.
  • A passionate and driven individual with strong strategic, creative, and marketing acumen.
  • Critical eye and strong appreciation for the importance brand consistency.
  • Digitally savvy, with experience developing content strategies across various digital and social channels. Strong communication and elevated presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the central steward of content strategy, ensuring all content efforts contribute to a cohesive Global Masterbrand narrative.
  • Translate the Four Seasons Brand Book into practical frameworks, tools, and guidance that enable consistent expression across channels, campaigns, customer touchpoints, and Lines of Business.
  • Build and evolve the Content Strategy Centre of Excellence, establishing governance, standards, and ways of working that help teams confidently apply brand strategy.
  • Foster alignment across Centres of Excellence, SMEs, Regions, and agency partners to ensure consistency, clarity, and quality across the content ecosystem.
  • Provide strategic guidance that helps teams understand not only what the brand stands for, but how it should come to life through content.
  • Partner closely with Digital counterparts to champion the adoption, integration, and responsible application of AI across content strategy and workflows, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, enhance storytelling effectiveness, enable informed decision-making, and scale best practices across teams.
  • Steward and evolve the Brand Storytelling Pillars as the primary framework for shaping content strategy across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain the Brand Content Playbook, ensuring clarity on pillar application, cadence, weighting, and balance over time.
  • Partner with Centres of Excellence and SMEs to define how Storytelling Pillars are expressed across disciplines, audiences, channels, and stages of the customer journey.
  • Ensure Storytelling Pillars are consistently translated across Paid, Owned, Earned, and broader Commercial experiences while maintaining alignment to the Global Masterbrand.
  • Ensure major initiatives ladder back to the Storytelling Pillars and collectively contribute to a richer, more connected Four Seasons story.
  • Partner with Lines of Business, Channel teams, Centres of Excellence, and SMEs early in planning cycles to ensure storytelling is considered before execution begins.
  • Clarify the strategic role of content within campaigns, initiatives, and business priorities, including pillar emphasis, narrative hierarchy, and audience relevance.
  • Help teams connect individual initiatives to the broader Global Masterbrand narrative while supporting their specific business objectives.
  • Encourage integrated storytelling approaches that create consistency across channels, campaigns, and customer touchpoints.
  • Serve as a trusted strategic advisor, enabling teams to execute with confidence while maintaining strategic alignment.
  • Drive storytelling integration and brand-building across FourSeasons.com, ensuring digital experiences reinforce the Global Masterbrand.
  • Lead content strategy for key digital experiences including homepage takeovers, promotional banners, ambient headers, and supporting content placements.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen connections between owned digital channels and broader Commercial initiatives.
  • Partner with Digital, Creative, and Marketing stakeholders to ensure content decisions contribute to a cohesive guest experience.
  • Manage reviews and approvals of digital content through internal governance forums.
  • Lead Monthly Content Connects to drive collaboration across key functional areas with focus on reviewing content calendars, ensuring quality, appropriate pillar cadence, and overall alignment.
  • Within Monthly Connects, Identify haps, overlaps, or opportunities for integration across initiatives.
  • Host Quarterly Reviews to measure what’s working across the full funnel in partnership with analytics teams. Recommend adjustments to cadence and investments for consideration.
  • Within Quarterly Reviews, keep teams accountable to our brand voice and storytelling pillars.
  • Partner closely with Marketing Leads, Creative, CRM, PR, Social, Paid Media, Digital, Regional teams, and other SMEs to ensure Storytelling Pillars are consistently brought to life across all Commercial touchpoints.
  • Build trusted relationships across teams, acting as a connector who aligns diverse stakeholders around a shared storytelling vision.
  • Identify opportunities to integrate narratives, initiatives, and content efforts to create greater collective impact.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure outputs align with the Global Masterbrand, Storytelling Pillars, and content strategy objectives.

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary Range: $95,000 – $125,000 CAD + additional rewards as part of the total compensation package.
