About The Position

The Manager, Motion Solutions Branch Operations leads the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the branch/COE facility, with responsibility for operational execution, customer satisfaction, team leadership, and financial performance. This role partners closely with key stakeholders to prioritize work, resolve issues, and ensure the efficient, profitable delivery of high-quality value-add solutions and related services. This role also oversees production performance, staffing, inventory, operating costs, policy and safety compliance, branch reporting, and continuous improvement efforts to support on time, on quality and profitable delivery as well as sustained branch growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in branch operations, manufacturing, or industrial leadership roles preferred.
  • Proven experience working with senior leadership and contributing to broader organizational initiatives.
  • Strong background in budget management, project execution, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience leading employees and making personnel decisions.
  • Establishes and assures adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements within their team or department.
  • Balances competing priorities while driving operational efficiency and quality.
  • Ability to set operational objectives, develop work plans, and delegate assignments across managers, supervisors, and individual contributors.
  • Ability to lead operations with accountability for results measured against established objectives.
  • Knowledge of developing, implementing, and improving policies and procedures that support safe and effective operations.
  • High level of operational and organizational knowledge gained through extensive professional experience.

  • Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams while maintaining a professional, service-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day branch and COE operations with responsibility for service, quality, delivery, customer satisfaction, and overall branch performance.
  • Manage branch personnel directly or indirectly, including staffing, scheduling, coaching, performance management, and annual reviews.
  • Partners with Engineering, Customer Service, Manufacturing, Sales Managers, District Managers, and Branch Managers to prioritize work, communicate status, resolve issues, and align resources with customer and business needs.
  • Support sales, marketing, and customer service efforts related to the branch value-add technologies while strengthening customer and vendor relationships.
  • Develop schedules, monitor workloads, and coordinate daily production and field activities to ensure on-time, profitable delivery.
  • Support branch budgeting, approve purchases as assigned, monitor inventory levels, and track operating costs and production metrics.
  • Establish, maintain, and improve processes and procedures that promote safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and applicable operational standards, while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Respond promptly to customer issues, support cross-functional problem-solving, and drive resolutions that protect customer satisfaction and branch results.
  • Coordinate maintenance and readiness of tools, equipment, and facility resources needed to support operations.
  • Prepare and communicate updates and reports to leadership regarding branch performance, production needs, risks, and improvement opportunities.
