About The Position

This hybrid position requires three days a week on-site. The role involves managing, implementing, and assessing approaches for the statistical operations of clinical studies. Responsibilities include monitoring and improving processes for efficient study data management and the generation of interim and final statistical reports. The position will oversee statistical aspects of project staffing, development and maintenance of study budgets, and provide management-level representation at operational meetings. Additionally, the role will participate in strategic organizational planning with the leadership team and identify and implement new systems for improvements. The individual will also work independently to provide statistical support to research studies, offer statistical and scientific input for major scientific projects as needed, and provide statistical consultation. This role includes overseeing technical statistical analyses and design, and participating as a Senior Statistician on clinical studies and/or methodological research, time permitting, while maintaining a working knowledge of all statistical aspects of studies.

Requirements

  • Masters degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Public Health or related field.
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of related experience, or PhD in Statistics or Biostatistics with minimum six (6) years experience.
  • At least two (2) years of direct supervisory experience.
  • Familiarity with data management applications and database support requirements in a clinical trials setting.
  • Familiarity with statistical and data management programming tasks.
  • Clinical study related experience.
  • Statistical Project Management experience.

  • SAS, Stata or R programming experience.
