About The Position

The Manager, Benefits & Mobility plays a critical role in delivering competitive, compliant, and employee‑centric benefits and mobility programs that support business growth and workforce needs. This role partners closely with HR, Finance, Legal, and external vendors to ensure effective program design, operational excellence, and a positive employee experience. The position offers the opportunity to influence how employees experience benefits and global mobility during a period of transformation and growth for DePuy Synthes. Where required to be managed locally: Document handling: Print, stamp/seal, mail/ship, distribute, and route documents for wet signatures. Records management: Store/archive/retrieve HR documents; fulfill requests; coordinate offsite storage; scan and name for Veeva. Compliance/admin: Upload/submit filings; print and hand-deliver to agencies; support audits and onsite audit coordination.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or related field).
  • Typically requires 6–8 years of progressive experience in benefits, mobility, or total rewards, with experience at the manager level.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. benefits programs and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience managing vendors and third‑party service providers.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data and translate insights into recommendations.
  • Proven stakeholder management and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • English (additional languages a plus).

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree or advanced HR/Total Rewards education preferred.
  • Experience supporting global mobility or international assignment programs.
  • Prior experience in a large, matrixed organization or regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of change management and employee communications related to benefits.
  • Familiarity with HR systems and benefits administration platforms.
  • CEBS or similar benefits certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day‑to‑day administration and continuous improvement of employee benefits programs, including health and welfare, retirement, and wellbeing offerings.
  • Lead mobility programs, including domestic and international relocations, assignments, and related policy governance.
  • Ensure benefits and mobility programs comply with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (HR Business Partners, Total Rewards, Finance, Legal) to align programs with business strategy and workforce needs.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including brokers and mobility providers, to ensure service quality, cost effectiveness, and compliance.
  • Analyze program performance, utilization, and costs; prepare insights and recommendations for leadership.
  • Support change initiatives, including program enhancements, employee communications, and transitions related to organizational changes.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to HR partners and employees on benefits and mobility‑related matters.
