About The Position

Action Property Management, a leader in community management, is seeking a part-time Manager Assistant to join their team at The Rivers, a luxury association in Sacramento. The Manager Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to the General Manager, ensuring the smooth functioning of the association. This role involves coordinating various aspects of community management, including member services, architectural review, and accounting.

Requirements

  • Must be over 18 years of age and successfully pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience.
  • Minimum typing speed of 35 wpm
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of using Action property management software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • A college education is preferred.
  • Property Management and/or hotel industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handle correspondence, answer phone calls, maintain calendars.
  • Prepare and monitor non-compliance letters, hearing, and decision notices.
  • Assist with meeting preparation, minute taking, and supply management.
  • Serve as a liaison between the General Manager and the Architectural Review Committee.
  • Coordinate meetings, manage deposits, and oversee construction projects.
  • Address resident concerns, issue access devices, and assist new owners.
  • Assist in supporting and supervising the front desk staff.
  • Process invoices, track receivables, and prepare delinquency reports.
  • Act as Manager on Duty in the General Manager’s absence, assist with daily interior and exterior inspections and assist with Action List items and other duties as assigned.
