In this role, you'll support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), guiding a team that shows up with purpose every single day. Your Role As a Residential Manager or Assistant Manager, you'll set the tone for everything: the culture of your team, the quality of care, and the sense of belonging that makes a house feel like home. You'll hire, train, and support direct support staff - modeling the professionalism and compassion you want to see. You'll ensure that daily life reflects each person's unique goals, interests, and dreams, encouraging independence and meaningful community connections at every turn. Day to day, you'll oversee staffing, household and vehicle maintenance, manage budgets, and keep documentation accurate and organized. You'll collaborate closely with clinical teams to support behavioral health needs, and maintain open, high-quality communication with families, guardians, and interdisciplinary partners. When urgent needs arise, you'll be the steady, capable presence your team and the people you serve can count on.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of leadership experience in residential services for people with I/DD
  • 2–3 years working as a Direct Support Professional
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record
  • Interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Computer literacy for documentation and communication
