Requirements

Managerial experience in application software engineering.
Experience in developing and guiding new application software features and enhancements.
Experience ensuring accessibility in software development.
Experience developing documentation for application design and code.
Experience leading code reviews.
Experience in debugging and troubleshooting application issues.
Experience with API functionality, integration, and service-to-service interactions.
Experience designing and developing application software, systems, and services.
Experience collaborating with stakeholders to understand customer use cases and align application solutions.
Experience providing technical guidance and prioritizing customer support for application-related issues.
Experience establishing, following, and enforcing security criteria, development best practices, processes, and coding standards.
Experience ensuring team adherence to acceptance criteria.
Experience performing maintenance and testing operations for application systems, including upgrades and patching.

Responsibilities

Provides coaching and process execution for the team to develop and guide new application software features and enhancements following design specifications, ensuring accessibility, and to develop documents that clarify application design and code.
Leads application-focused code reviews to drive improvements.
Leads and reviews the team to conduct debugging and troubleshooting to identify and fix application issues within a single component or functional area.
Guides the team in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application programming interface (API) functionality, integration, and service-to-service interactions.
Manages the team to design and develop application software, systems, and services.
May collaborate and communicate with stakeholders to understand customer use cases and align application solutions.
Manages the team to provide technical guidance and appropriately prioritize support to customers regarding application-related issues.
Collaborates with the team and other stakeholders to establish, follow, and enforce documented security criteria, application development best practices and processes, and coding standards.
Ensures team adherence to broad acceptance criteria.
Manages the team to perform periodic maintenance and testing operations for application systems that require upgrading or patching (e.g., for critical vulnerabilities).
