Beth Israel Lahey Health (BILH) is seeking an Analytics Quality Manager to lead enterprise efforts focused on ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and usability of reporting across the BILH analytics ecosystem. As BILH advances toward a unified OneBILH analytics environment, the organization requires strong governance to maintain trust in the reports, dashboards, metrics, and automated data processes used by clinicians, administrators, and operational leaders. The Analytics Quality Manager oversees the quality management lifecycle for enterprise reporting assets, including reports, dashboards, metrics, data extracts, and automated data transfer processes. This role establishes monitoring frameworks, conducts quality audits, and leads initiatives to improve the consistency and reliability of reporting across enterprise analytics platforms. Working closely with analytics engineering, reporting teams, and operational stakeholders, the Analytics Quality Manager ensures that BILH leaders can rely on analytics outputs to support critical decisions related to patient care, operational performance, and financial outcomes. This role will require 5 years of Epic reporting experience.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience in healthcare analytics, reporting governance, data quality management, or related analytics roles.
Experience working with enterprise reporting platforms and healthcare data environments.
Demonstrated experience managing reporting lifecycle, governance processes, or data quality programs.
Strong understanding of analytics governance, reporting lifecycle management, and change control processes.
Knowledge of healthcare data environments and enterprise analytics platforms.
Ability to analyze complex reporting environments and identify quality and reliability risks.
Strong collaboration and communication skills with both technical and operational stakeholders.
Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive continuous improvement efforts.
5 years of Epic reporting experience.

Nice To Haves

Epic certification in Reporting Workbench, Clarity, Caboodle, or Cogito tools.
Experience supporting analytics programs within a large integrated healthcare system.
Experience managing enterprise reporting catalog governance or analytics asset inventories.
Familiarity with automated data pipelines, extract processes, and analytics platform monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain data quality standards, validation rules, and monitoring frameworks.
Implement processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness of data.
Oversee data profiling, anomaly detection, and root‑cause analysis for data issues.
Ensure compliance with data governance policies and regulatory requirements.
Review and validate analytical models, data extracts, dashboards, and reporting outputs for accuracy and reliability.
Develop and enforce best practices for data collection, transformation, and analysis.
Collaborate with analytics teams to optimize data efficiency and quality.
Review Caboodle Data Model Components (DMCs) to ensure alignment with enterprise data standards.
Identify redundant, obsolete, or unused reporting content and coordinate retirement or consolidation efforts.
Partner with engineering, developers, operations, and business teams to define data requirements.
Translate business needs into quality metrics and validation processes.
Communicate complex data quality findings in clear, actionable terms to stakeholders.
Participate in Epic and analytics platform upgrade planning and validation.
Conduct regular audits of data analytics workflows to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Review dashboards, reports, metrics, and analytical models for accuracy and alignment with business requirements and definitions.
Perform periodic compliance reviews to ensure data handling meets internal and external regulatory expectations.
Document audit findings, recommend corrective actions, and track remediation progress.
Develop audit checklists, quality scorecards, and documentation.
Lead initiatives to improve data quality across the organization.
Manage quality analysts or data stewards as needed.
Define KPIs and performance metrics for data quality and analytics reliability.
Drive continuous improvement in analytics workflows and governance frameworks.
