Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is searching for a Manager, AI Next Frontier for Patient Engagements to lead the AI transformation and execution roadmap for patient support services across our key Therapeutic Areas (TAs). The Manager, AI Next Frontier for Patient Engagements will lead our AI transformation journey with a primary focus on elevating the patient solutions and experience through the strategic application of AI for an outstanding, patient-focused fulfillment and adherence experience that serves the patients, improves care, and positions JJIM with a sustained competitive advantage. To accomplish this, they will need the ability to influence decision making with senior leaders while working collaboratively with teams across the J&J IM organization.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience in healthcare, analytics, data science, marketing, management consulting or related field is required
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment
  • Hands-on experience integrating and analyzing healthcare claims, electronic health records, specialty pharmacy, SDOH/consumer, and patient hub data
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, ChatGPT, Copilot etc.) in daily workflows, with concrete examples of how they reduce effort, speed up delivery, or improve output quality
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships, and comfort making decisions and leading others.
  • Intellectual curiosity and passion to learn new things and adaptability to shifting timelines and priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in predictive analytics and machine learning techniques (e.g. supervised, unsupervised, deep learning) and their real-world applications is preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in driving adoption and sustained usage of AI solutions

Responsibilities

  • Identification and quantification of the most significant problems across the entire patient journey to support where/when/how to best intervene in helping patients start and stay on therapy.
  • Day-to-day relationships and projects with leadership across PECS (Patient experience & customer solutions), brand sales and marketing, Media, Advanced Analytics, Data Science & Engineering, and IT, among others
  • Being the end to end product owner and single point-of-contact for AI/ML solutions supporting patient support services for the chosen therapeutic area shaping and evolving the patient solution roadmap
  • Advocating for change and foster progress in new ways of thinking regarding the role of AI within patient support services
  • Measuring impact of solutions & programs through leading and lagging indicators including establishing a measurement framework, and conducting A/B testing
  • Partnering with HCC, privacy, and legal to ensure that compliance and appropriate patient confidentiality is at the core of all solutions
