About The Position
The Manager, AI Ideation & Innovation identifies and shapes high-value AI, automation, and analytics opportunities across OC. This role works closely with business leaders to understand challenges, uncover use cases, and translate them into structured opportunities for delivery teams. The role also supports innovation efforts by helping teams explore bold ideas, evaluate practical use cases, and scale the most valuable opportunities in partnership with solutions and operational leaders.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience across business functions such as commercial, manufacturing, technology, finance, or supply chain
- Experience identifying and shaping business opportunities involving AI, automation, analytics, or digital solutions
- Experience working across multiple functions and with enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, or Manufacturing Systems
- Strong understanding of AI, generative AI, automation, analytics, and where they can create practical business value
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate between business needs and technical possibilities
- Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills across organizational levels
Nice To Haves
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- Experience in a cross-functional matrix organization
- Experience with process improvement
- Familiarity with enterprise business platforms and AI capabilities
- Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or commercial environments
- Experience and passion working with data and AI tools
Responsibilities
- Build relationships across supply chain, finance, commercial, technology, manufacturing, and PLM
- Identify business challenges and translate them into AI, automation, or analytics opportunities
- Lead structured ideation with business leaders to generate, evaluate, and prioritize opportunities
- Help stakeholders understand practical AI use cases and realistic technology options
- Partner with adjacent leaders to move ideas from concept into delivery
