About The Position

Under the supervision of the Director of Specialized Services, the Program Manager Is responsible for overseeing the implementation of ACT services, which are designed to promote community-based mental health treatment for individuals with severe mental illnesses.

Requirements

  • LISW-S or LPCC-S and is licensed in the state of Ohio.
  • Demonstrated leadership of high-performing teams in a community behavioral health setting.
  • Master’s degree in social work or a social service discipline with a minimum of five years mental health, chemical dependency, and/or social services work experience including a minimum of one year of supervisory experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct the daily operations of the ACT program to ensure it is meeting the needs of clients served
  • Ensure that services are delivered in a timely, effective, and compassionate manner, aligned with evidenced-based practices
  • Monitor the quality and outcomes of services provided, ensuring they adhere to regulatory standards and organizational goals
  • Supervise and provide leadership to the multidisciplinary team, including mental health professionals, nurses, social workers, and other staff
  • Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, support, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the department to succeed
  • Provide regular supervision and performance evaluations to team members
  • Ensure proper staffing levels and manage schedules to meet patient needs effectively
  • Provide direction and guidance to an individual or a group of people and to encourage cooperation between team members to attain an objective
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and collaborate in the development of strategies to address client needs
  • Uses data to inform program improvements and decision-making processes
  • Participates in various standing, functional, and ad hoc committee groups
  • Assumes supervisory functions in the temporary absence of other supervisors and managers
  • Other related duties as assigned
