About The Position

The Manager, Accounting & Controllership, WHQ Controller is a key member of the Corporate Accounting team with primary ownership of Global Mobility accounting and selected WHQ controllership activities. The role leads the end-to-end accounting process for a dedicated mobility company with its own profit and loss statement and balance sheet in the SAP source system. The position combines operational controllership, technical accounting judgment, cross-functional coordination, stakeholder support, and a strong controls mindset.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• 5+ years of experience in accounting.
• 3+ years of applying US GAAP in monthly, quarterly and annual close processes.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction; visa sponsorship is not available.
• The role may require flexibility in meeting times to support stakeholders across global time zones

Nice To Haves

• CPA, CMA, or other relevant professional certification
• Experience with SAP, or other ERP
• Controls-focused mindset with experience supporting SOX compliance, internal controls, external audit requests, and process documentation.
• Experience with Global Mobility, expatriate or inpat accounting, payroll accounting, employee tax matters, tax equalization, transfer pricing, or intercompany allocations and billing.

Responsibilities

• Manage assignment setup, master data, journal entries, accruals, allocations, intercompany billing, settlements, reconciliations, and period-end reporting.
• Interpret mobility costs across entities and tax jurisdictions; execute tax equalization, hypothetical/imputed tax, withholdings, reimbursements, and true-ups.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly variance and flux analyses; maintain internal controls, SOX documentation, audit-ready records, and employee data privacy.
• Partner with internal teams to resolve inquiries, drive process automation/standardization, and support ad-hoc Corporate Controller initiatives.
