The Manager, ABM Operations and Projects leads a team responsible for the management and daily operations of the Bank’s ABM network in Canada, including cash management and third-party servicing for all outsourced ABMs. The role also oversees the ABM claims and settlement process with external service providers. This position supports the delivery of secure, cost-effective currency supply solutions across the branch and ABM networks. Accountabilities span operational, technical, and financial components of currency services, including cash distribution, ABM servicing and maintenance, centralized processing, and data analytics. The Manager contributes to the overall success of the Currency Services team by ensuring projects, initiatives, and day-to-day operations are executed effectively in support of business strategies and objectives. The role also fosters continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery, optimize processes, and reduce unit costs. Through ongoing collaboration with internal stakeholders, external vendors (including third-party service providers), regulators, and industry partners, the incumbent ensures the Bank consistently receives high-quality service and competitive value from its suppliers. All activities are conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies, and the Bank’s risk appetite.
