About The Position
The Position Professional Engineer Managers plan, coordinate and oversee projects, programs and consultant contracts/agreements and perform licensed professional engineering functions. Incumbents function as managers who train, supervise and evaluate the performance of subordinate supervisors; develop policies and procedures; and allocate staff and resources to accomplish goals and objectives. This position is located in Elko and serves as the District Support Engineer. This position is responsible for managing assigned construction contracts and provide supervision to several teams and team members. Collaborate with various NDOT Divisions and oversee district-level contracts, agreements, stormwater compliance, and roadway operations. Direct Stewardship Projects from application through final acceptance. Ensure and promote safety across all projects and field crews. Functions as a construction project manager within a district.
