Management Trainee
About The Position
The Management Trainee (MIT) program at Locke Supply is designed to develop servant leaders who lead by example, support their teams, and operate with an owner’s mindset. As an MIT, you will learn every aspect of branch operations from the ground up, put your team first, remove obstacles for others, lead through action, trust, and accountability, and build teams people are proud to be part of. The program emphasizes that no job is beneath a leader, and MITs are expected to set the tone, model the standard, and show what ownership looks like. MITs will absorb Locke Supply's culture of service, humility, and ownership, understand branch processes, learn about customers and their needs, and gain knowledge of products and their applications. The role also involves building lasting relationships with local customers and contractors, supporting the local workforce and economy, and leading a team that takes pride in serving their community.
Requirements
- Leadership experience (retail, service, trades, operations, or similar)
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Humility, accountability, and a team-first mindset
- Desire to grow into a leadership role with long-term career potential
