About The Position

1ST GEAR! is SIXT's global Management Trainee Program, a 12-month intensive journey designed to accelerate participants into leadership roles within the company. The program offers hands-on experience, responsibility, and skill development necessary to lead in the mobility sector. Upon successful completion, trainees are guaranteed a leadership position within the United States, such as managing a branch or joining an airport leadership team. The program focuses on operational goals, efficiency, and team success, providing insights into key business areas like Sales, Customer Service, Fleet Management, and Performance Management. Participants engage in day-to-day operations, from sales to fleet management, and receive training in communication, conflict resolution, sales, and problem-solving. Collaboration with Branch Managers and Area Directors is integral to learning leadership on the job.

Requirements

Completed a bachelor's degree or gained relevant professional experience in Sales, Customer Service, Tourism, Hospitality and Management.
Hands-on, entrepreneurial mindset, driven to lead.
Strong communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently, solve problems, and take ownership.
Required to work and travel within the United States as business needs dictate.
Valid driver’s license.
At least 1 year of driving experience.
