About The Position

The South Division of Hajoca has a Management Development Program designed to attract, develop, and retain leaders. Trainees will gain exposure to all aspects of the business through active participation in operations and sales, working with contractors, and traveling to other profit centers within the region. This program, established in the 1990s, has a proven track record of success and prepares individuals for long-term leadership roles within Hajoca's unique business model. The program includes rotations in Warehouse and Counter (9 months), Inside Sales (9 months), Outside Sales (2 years), and Leadership and Operations (6 months). Upon successful completion, trainees are offered opportunities to lead a team, manage a multi-million-dollar business, and achieve significant financial rewards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Ability and willingness to work in all areas in the region applied
  • Strong desire to lead a team and run your own business
  • Experience leading teams, groups, clubs, or sports teams
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in professional, educational, and/or social experiences
  • Goal-orientation, a competitive spirit, and a take-charge attitude
  • Ability to perform a wide range of tasks with an equal blend of interpersonal and analytical skills

Nice To Haves

  • Entry-level work experience in people or project supervision, sales, operations, and/or customer service is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Gain a foundational understanding of the team and business operations.
  • Understand, perform, and master logistics of material handling.
  • Interact with customers, learn product knowledge, and understand product application.
  • Visit other locations to observe operations.
  • Interact with existing customers, provide solutions, and develop relationships.
  • Capture new accounts and grow existing accounts.
  • Become a partner with customers in their business.
  • Focus on operations management and leadership training.
