About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading team that provides environmental solutions to the public and private sectors throughout the State of Maryland. Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Management Specialist to join the Technical and Environmental Services (TES) Group at our Headquarters facility in Millersville, MD. This position provides management support to headquarters and field locations within the Group. Responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of correspondence and data flow throughout the Group and Agency, attending meetings and providing administrative support services to the assigned Group or facility, and maintaining a favorable public image for Maryland Environmental Service. This position may also require overtime, as needed, to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university plus four years experience in administrative or professional work
One year of which involved either supervision or responsibility for program development
Applicants may substitute additional experience as defined above for the required education at the rate of one year of experience to one year of education, for up to four years of the required education.
Valid driver's license with less than 5 points
Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
